The Evil that Girl Scouts Do – GOP War on Women Becomes Truly Nasty

The far right are now attacking the Girl Scouts and they are using two Texas teens (and Taylor Swift mega-fans) to do it.  According to the new extremist narrative the Girl Scouts of the USA promote abortion and a "feminist" agenda.  The GOP War on Women has reached new lows with this attack… sicker upon consideration because they are using little girls to do the dirty work.

Proving that derangement can be handed down from parents to children the fundamentalist Volanski sisters have begun a jihad against  GSUSA by creating a their own anti-Girl Scouts blog in an effort to convince other little girls that an organization dedicated to lifting girls up is run by radical, hairy-armpitted feminist determined to mold America's young women into an army of abortion on demand mavens not satisfied with taking less pay for equal work.  It's a good thing the Volanski sisters are out there fighting the good jihad… right?

"While we recognize the many good things about the Girl Scouts, we had to ask ourselves: Will we stand for our beliefs, for the dignity of life, the sanctity of marriage, modesty, purity? Or will we remain true to the Girl Scouts? We cannot see any way to truly do both," they state on their website.

What the Volanski girls and their handlers are not being honest about is that the Girl Scouts operate with a two-tiered structure.  The national organization does NOT tell the locals what to do, what groups to become affiliated with, or provide dictatorial or strict guidelines as to what they can do or teach.  They are also, as usual, leaving out the majority of what the GSUSA actually does and stripping it all down to the hysterical just like their adult counter-parts in the far-right and fundamentalist Christian groups do.  These little Palins in waiting have learned well from the adults around them.  

They point to the GSUSA's associations with Planned Parenthood without mentioning that the primary focus of Planned Parenthood is NOT abortions rather it is women's health.  Planned Parenthood does more pre-natal care and consulting for the working poor than they have ever done with abortions.  Planned Parenthood does more free mammograms a year than they do abortions.  Planned Parenthood is a bulwark against common diseases for women and the attack on them by fundamentalist and the GOP is more political than ideological.  The sick thing being that now they are using children to do their attacking.  Turning girls against themselves and other girls in an effort that they may feel helps them politically, but in the end will truly cost lives.
